Lady Gaga is fat (Photos)

Forget about Lady Gaga’s achievements. Her five Grammy Awards. Her music - "Born This Way," "The Fame Monster," and "The Fame" selling 15 million albums worldwide and her singles having a combined sale of over 90 million giving the artist a $52 million paycheck over the past year.

Not bad, but in the scheme of things who really cares. Apparently, she’s fat. Huge.

So what if it’s commonplace to find Gaga, (born Stefani Germanotta, but answers to Mother Monster) mingling on Forbes’ Most Powerful Women in the World list where the 26-year old ranks among world leaders including First Lady Michelle Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Melinda Gates, Indian National Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and media maven Arianna Huffington to name but a few.

By the way, how much do all those women weigh and what are their dress sizes?

Gaga was named one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2010. Past accolades. Her thinner past. Clearly a trim woman people could admire and look up to. Not the “Porker Face” The Sun so glowingly called her when she performed in Amsterdam last week.

Granted Gaga didn’t look her anorexic self as she donned the famous meat dress and squeezed her way into revealing wardrobe attire leaving little to the imagination. This was no longer the starving pop star who “just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger. Pop singers don't eat. I was born this way," she tweeted in April.

Whatever Lady. Doesn’t the female population have it hard enough without this kind of “spin.”

During a radio interview with Elvis Duran, Gaga admitted she broke the unholy chain of command and gained 25 pounds while relaxing off tour.

“I love eating pasta and pizza. I'm a New York Italian girl. That's why I have been staying out of New York. My father opened a restaurant. It's so amazing . . . it's so freaking delicious, but I'm telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there. So my dad wants me to eat at the restaurant, and I'm, like, I've got to go where I can drink green juice."

Although she states she doesn’t care, she has been careful to cover herself up when going outside in public and adds she is now dieting. Seems like she cares.

“You know, I really don't feel bad about it, not even for a second. I have to be on such a strict diet constantly. It's hard because it's a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don't like that. So I'm trying to find a new balance."

For someone whose philanthropic work flexes so much muscle it's sad to focus on something as unimportant as weight gain. This conversation is an old one. Just ask Adele, Jessica Simpson, Janet Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, this list goes on. How boring to be so catty and judgemental.
