A Lady Gaga Halloween Costume with lighting effects will sure to win first prize at any costume party you go to this year. Lady Gaga is the queen of bizarre, so the stranger the better when it comes to a homemade costume depicting this pop diva.
Start by making a light up bra for your Lady Gaga costume. Pick up two funnels at any dollar store; get the size that would look closest to your breast size. Next, grab a package of those battery operated touch lights that are sold to stick under counters, in closets and other dark spaces.
They need to be the small round lights that are flat on the bottom. Using a little super glue, put one light in each funnel wedged down so the light is shining out of the point of the funnel.
Use an old bra and cut the cups out enough so that the funnels will go through it ¾ of the way. Put any tight shirt over this and cut our small holes for the tips of the funnel to come through.
Next use a hot glue gun and glue silk flowers around the hole in the shirt so you have a round patch of flowers the size of a coffee cup opening. When the glue sets, you have your own Lady Gaga style light up boob shirt!
Change the color of your bra head lights by putting the colored cellophane, the type used to cover Easter baskets, over the hole of the funnel where the light shines through.
This shirt will be the highlight of you costume, but wear it with tight Lycra black leotard pants and spiked heels.

Get Aquanet Hairspray and white baby powder for your hair style like Lady Gaga.
Bend at the waist an put your head down. Spray Aquanet all over your hair and flip it back. Once it is dry put your head down again and dust it with baby powder and then spray it thoroughly with Aquanet. Try and keep your head down for a minute so the hair spray can dry. Flip your hair back and then pinch your hair in places to stand up and style it so it looks wind swept. Once you are happy with the look, spray the final hair do with, yes, more Aquanet.
Jewelry: Accessorize this look with gaudy jewelry, the bigger and brighter the better. Make sure you don’t distract from the light up boobs, but big earrings and bracelets will add to this look.
Make-up: Overdo the make-up and make sure you wear gobs of it. Your best bet is to wear those false baby doll eye lashes!
