On Sunday afternoon, Lady Gaga went on a Twitter tirade against Madonna, Katy Perry, and her critics. This comes right after critics have described her latest single "Do What You Want" as insufferable. The poor sales, poor reviews, and just about everything else have finally driven Gaga over the borderline.
In the tweets, she first posted what people have been saying about her for the past couple of years. One tweet reads in all caps, "LADY GAGA IS A REDUCTIVE MADONNA COPY! SHE'S OVER NOW!" The former superstar then hashtags, "#WriteWhatUWant #SayWhatUWantBoutMe #ImNotSorry." She references Madonna's song "Human Nature."
Mother Monster then goes on to rip Katy Perry by saying it doesn't matter that "Roar" beat "Applause," because Gaga doesn't care about the charts anymore. "#UWontUseMyMind I write for the music not the charts," she claims. This is quite hypocritical coming from a woman who employed special tricks to get her song to the top of the charts.
A couple months back, Gaga had another Twitter tirade where she claimed Perez Hilton was trying to stalk her and that people were going to shoot her in the head. Perez Hilton and others claimed that drugs had finally gotten the worse of Gaga's brain. Let's hope she gets help soon.
