Lady Gaga fans got pummeled at a surprise concert given by the "Born This Way" hitmaker in Dallas late Sunday. With more than 500 fans crowding the dance floor at Dallas' Round Up Saloon, local Dallas Lady Gaga concert fans were being pushed and tackled by rabid, clawing fans fighting for center stage.
LADY GAGA FAN: "I ALMOST DIED"
"It was ridiculous," one Dallas fan said while waiting for Lady Gaga to take the stage. "I almost died."
With Gaga's scheduled performance at Dallas' American Airlines Center on Monday night still slotted, the fashion temptress and queen of pop decided to stop by a local Dallas gay bar to put on a private and impromptu concert for local fans.
LADY GAGA THANKS DALLAS FOR "BELIEVING IN ME"
"I love you and appreciate being able to come here with ya'll tonight," Gaga said following her private performance. "Thank you for believing in me."
FLOODS OF FANS THREATEN SAFETY
Fans lined the narrow doorways of Round Up more than three hours before her rumored performance and select Lady Gaga goers were allowed to stand in the streets to welcome her performance. With fans flooding the gates and railings of Round Up, it was a scene that left some fans content to sit on the sidelines.
FANS STILL GRATEFUL FOR SURPRISE SHOW
"We were happy to watch her from the patio views," the fans added. "Getting through the crowd was agressive and ridiculous. I definitely would have been disappointed if she hadn't shown up at all."
