Lady Gaga has cancelled the remainder of her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour, reported the HuffPost on Feb. 13. Fans that have purchased any of the 21 remaining concert dates will be refunded by Thursday, according to the singer’s official website.
The New York native will prepare for surgery to a labral tear of the right hip; an injury she incurred from her fervent onstage dance routines.
The pop star singer was diagnosed last week with synovitis after hiding her pain from staff and fans.
Synovitis is a severe inflammation of the lining in the joints where surgery – along with recovery time to heal – will provide long term relief.
“Mother monster” had given indications of her painful condition to fans on her twitter page in recent days; she had originally cancelled four concerts of the 21 dates left to her scheduled world tour.
No doubt, the New York City gal will take a well-deserved break being pampered by family with some good home Italian meals during her recovery; don’t expect the queen diva to be wearing any high heels anytime soon.
