Lady Gaga had to postpone four of her “Born This Way Ball” tour shows on Tuesday night. According to MTV on Feb. 14 Mother Monster is going to have to do more than just cancel four shows. This morning Gaga made the announcement on her website, Little Monsters, which states she will be canceling the rest of her tour.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, will be prepping for surgery to repair a severe performance injury. On Wednesday the singer began tweeting about the joint pain after her performance in Montreal. She hid it from her staff and fans but after her performance she couldn't walk. Stefani didn't want to disappoint anyone and hoped she could continue to perform. Going through some additional tests she tweeted as she waited to find the results only to learn that she has a “labral tear of the right hip.”
Lady Gaga will need "strict down time" after her surgery in order to have a successful recovery. Thankfully, Mother Monster has understanding fans that support her every move. Everyone was urging her to take care of herself first. Her fans will be with her every step of the way.
