Is Lady Gaga really returning the Grammy stage just one year after a celebrated performance with Elton John ? According to 'Skating With the Stars' judge Laurie Ann Gibson and Gaga, it might just happen !
With a simple yes, in response to a fan (monster) after Gibson tweeted "Grammy meeting performance extraordinaire" earlier this week, Gaga made the rumor official Wednesday -- although Grammy organizers have not, as of yet, announced the anticipated line up.
At the top of the year, Lady Gaga confirmed the fact that her anticipated lead single from the "Born This Way" album, an official follow up to "The Fame Monster" and "The Fame," will premiere February 13 -- ironically the same day as the Grammys airing on CBS.
"Born This Way," the album hits stores May 30.
In related news, Britney Spears is also rumored to be on tap for the Grammys, although her team disputed the rumors Tuesday claiming she is not opening or performing later in the show.
The anticipated 53rd Annual Grammy Awards air Sunday, February 13 on CBS. Lady Gaga is nominated for two awards, including a nod for collaboration with Beyonce -- "Telephone".
