Lady Gaga doesn't care what the bloggers think of the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and she definitely doesn't care what her competitors think either. However, the star is genuinely interested in how the fans felt about her performance on Sunday night during the award show. After recovering from the show, the entertainer asked fans for feedback on Monday morning.
“So what did monsters think of my Vma performance? Stay focused on your greatest competition: yourself! #SnatchYourOwnWeave,” tweeted Lady Gaga from her official Twitter account on Monday.
Soliciting the good, the bad and the ugly feedback online is always risky for entertainers wanting to hear what the public thinks. Obviously the fans are going to be brutally honest and since the folks who are buying albums are taking time to comment, Lady Gaga is willing to listen.
The 2013 VMAs were all about making an impression. Lady Gaga’s moment reminded us all that it’s important to do your best and challenge yourself to be amazing. On Sunday night that’s exactly what she did, but she went a step further and added music.
