Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band concluded a two-night stand called "We Are Plastic Ono Band" at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles last night with a guest appearance by Lady Gaga. Gaga later tweeted "WE ARE PLASTIC ONO. I got to sit in as a guest musician tonight, what a legendary band+mother, Yoko."
We're told the first night set included "Talking on Thin Ice," which we heard her do so excellently in Oakland in February, plus songs from her recent album "Between My Head and the Sky" ("The Sun Is Down" was one), concluding with "Give Peace a Chance."
The two shows were marked by celebrity appearances. Iggy Pop joined the proceedings the first night, while Lady Gaga joined in the second night.
There are pictures of both shows in the slideshow.

Glad I missed this one.
Perhaps there should be a Yoko Ono Examiner so that those of us who come to the Beatles Examiner looking for news about, say, the Beatles, don't have to read about this self-obsessed woman's latest grab for attention.
The first night didn't even come close to selling out. The second night sold out for one reason: Gaga.
The second night at least someone on stage was able to sing....Lady Gaga has a wonderful voice.
Please keep away all this Yoko crap from the Examiner. Many of us can't stand this self-obsessed attention-grabbing woman who believes to be a great artist.
We are here to read about great musicians called The Beatles, not about their wifes celebrating themselves and making money out of their dead husbands.
It's 2010....Yoko bashing is SO passe
that's just your opinion. there are a lot of people who think otherwise and they have a right to voice their opinions.
Got something to say?
