Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are set to collaborate in the studio together for the first time. The two met at a Grammys' afterparty and were hooked up by Lady Gaga's father, according to Britain's The Sun.
Lady Gaga's father, Joseph, was her guest at the Grammys where she picked up two Grammy Awards. Spears was attending her first Grammys in years. Joseph reportedly spotted Spears at a party and told her Lady Gaga was her biggest fan.
A source told The Sun that Lady Gaga has been a big fun of Spears for years. : "GaGa has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is. She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter."
The source said Joseph inroduced them and they all three had a conversation. "At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her Fame Monster tour."
Spears is no stranger to collaborating with music's biggest stars. She and Madonna created a firestorm of publicity for their work together in the early '00s. Who knows what Lady Gaga and Britney will come up with together?
