New York Yankees' star Alex Rodriguez has had hip surgery, so it made sense for him to give a pep-talk to Lady Gaga. A-Rod ran into the singer at the doctor they share and, according to Zap2It.com on Feb. 23, he let her know what to expect.
A-Rod had the exact same surgery that Lady Gaga was about to have, so when the two ended up at their doctor's office at the same time, he took it upon himself to put her mind at ease. Gaga injured her hip, an injury so bad that she had to cancel her Born this Way Ball tour. The injury was a labral tear in her right hip.
Luckily for her, A-Rod underwent the procedure and let her know how his recovery went, how good their doctor was, and how he was back in action in no time at all. Lady Gaga said that, after their talk, she went in to have the surgery completely assured. Now, Lady Gaga is going through rehab and will be on crutches for a few weeks.
Lady Gaga will return to tour in the next three to six months. For all the Little Monsters who look forward to seeing the return of Lady Gaga, A-Rod is the person to thank for putting her mind at ease.
