Lady Broncos shutout Humble 15-0

For the second time in two days, the Lady Broncos rode the big bat of junior Chelsea Hostetler to win; this time 15-0 over the Humble Lady Wildcats.

A six run first inning put the game away early as Hostetler swung a hot bat but was just as strong from the pitcher's circle. Hostetler struck out eight and walk none in the route going performance. It was her ninth win of the season.

Ravin Wilson whose .377 average leads the Lady Broncos clubbed three more hits in the win and scored three times.

Hostetler followed her big night against Kingwood Park with three more hits against Humble including two home runs with four ore rbi's. The Dayton right hander is 5 for 9 with four home runs and a double plus eight rbi's in her last two games.

Anna Etling and Lyndsey Harryman had two hits apiece. Harryman also scored three times.

Every Lady Bronco hitter including Alicia Davila, Presley Bell, Ashley NcKinney, Shelbie Robbins and Samantha Scott collected at least one hit in the win.

The win pushed the Lady Broncos District 19-4A record to 9-4 with three games to play and solidified their hold on the third playoff spot.

The Lady Broncos posted their seventeenth victory of the season in their final home game of the regular season, Dayton travels to New Caney for a battle with the second place Lady Eagles on Tuesday April 9th. First pitch is scheduled for 6:15p.m.
