Country supergroup Lady Antebellum has seen the effect of their Grammy win on their album sales, as their Platinum-selling album Own the Night returns to the top of Billboard's Country Album chart after the award show win. The group won their seventh Grammy for Best Country Album for Own the Night on February 12th. The album has held the top spot on the chart for 10 weeks since its release in September 2011.
Lady Antebellum brought their "Own The Night World Tour" to Nashville last night, where 1,200 members attending the Country Radio Seminar were treated to tickets to their sold-out show. This weekend will see sold-out shows in Detroit, MI and Evanston, IN.
Be sure to catch Lady Antebellum, as they bring their Own The Night World Tour to Sacramento, at the Power Balance Pavilion on March 29th. Opening acts are Darius Rucker and Thompson Square.
The band's current single, "Dancing Away With My Heart" is currently sitting in the Top 15 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, up one to #14 from last week's #15 position, and continuing to rise.
