Country super group Lady Antebellum released the first single from their upcoming fourth studio release this week. The track is called "Downtown," not to be confused with the old Petula Clark song of the same name from the 60s.
“There's some sass to this track that makes it really fun to sing…it's definitely a roll down the windows and bob your head kind of thing,” said Lady A’s Hillary Scott in a press release. “We thought it was a fun way to launch the next record and a fitting preview of what's to come!"
The group will debut the track on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Mon., Jan. 28, and then perform it again on "The Talk" on Feb. 6. "The Tonight Show" airs on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT, and "The Talk" airs on CBS at 2:00 p.m. ET and 1:00 p.m. PT/CT.
Lady Antebellum has over 11 million in album sales, with six career No. 1 hits and seven Grammy awards. The trio took their tour to over one million fans in over 11 countries.
