The much deserved break from the road is over and Lady Antebellum is happy to be back together on stage for their “Take Me Downtown Tour.” Country Weekly reported on March 9, 2014 that Lady Antebellum members Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott are ready for the stage again after enjoying their downtime that included Scott becoming a mother to her daughter Eisele.

Scott said “We’d been going for seven years and we just needed to take a breath.” Scott also thanked their fans for being supportive of their break adding “Our hearts are about to burst we’re just so thankful, and we’re so appreciative to the fans for sticking with us through all this time and continuing on this journey with us and filling up these venues night after night.”

Scott continued to show how much Lady Antebellum appreciates their fans welcoming the group back to stage and coming to their shows by saying “There’s a lot of other places they could be going to be entertained or to enjoy themselves and the fact that they’re choosing us is truly humbling and we appreciate it so much.”

Lady Antebellum’s “Take Me Downtown Tour” was extended to cover 80 cities with Billy Currington, David Nail and Joe Nichols joining the fun for select summer dates that the group will perform. The summer leg of the tour kicks off in Phoenix, Arizona on March 22, 2014. Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves are currently on the road opening the shows and getting the fans ready for Lady Antebellum to take the stage.
