Country trio Lady Antebellum has doubled its weekly album sales since the bandmates' show-stopping performance of the critically acclaimed third single, "I Run To You," on Academy of Country Music Awards' live broadcast in April.

SInce the ACM event, the already-gold certified album has never dipped from its position in the Top 10 on iTunes in nearly 14 months, and currently, the self-titled CD is resting in the No. 6 spot while the latest single holds the No. 7 position.

"This song has really just taken on a life of its own," said lead vocalist Charles Kelley, Lady A's lead singer. "You can tell that the lyrics really hit home for people because they are on their feet from the first note."

Moreover, he continued, "(W)e're not making it easy for them, either, because we added a really cool surprise intro to the live version. It is one of the biggest moments in our set now."

In another news surrounding the CMA-winning trio, which also includes Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, summertime shows no signs of slowing down for the band, with more than 24 concerts to go on Kenny Chesney's "Sun City Carnival" Tour before it wraps in August.

In turn, the Lady A players are calling on country music fans to help create their immensely popular weekly video blogs known as "Webisode Wednesdays" by launching a "Fan Cam" promotion for the remaining seven stadium dates on the tour.

Lady A will provide one fan at each stop with a flip camera to snag footage of the tailgaters in the parking lot, the crowd rocking out during the show and even what goes on backstage with the band. Interested fans may enter on the band's Web site by creatively telling them why they would get the best footage.

Lady A will also catch up with fans during the 2009 CMA Music Festival when they perform at Nashville's LP Field on Friday, June 12, and again at the televised CMT Music Awards the following week, where they will perform and are nominated in three categories.
