Lady Alice apples are now available in grocery stores

Apples are all the rage now and trust us, you can’t find a better apple than Lady Alice.

The deliciously red apples come from Washington state and we love the ones by Rainier Fruit Company that are now available for the first time in grocery stores nationwide.

These juicy gorgeous picks vary from traditional Red Delicious apples in that they have a bright pink stripe over a creamy-yellow background that deepens to a banana-yellow after harvest.

Whether you prefer to eat them plain as a snack or add them to a pie for baking, you will love these tasty treats. We cut some up and added them into a salad for some extra flavor and also put a few into our daily green juice for added sweetness with a hint of tartness.

This apple is unlike any other in that it actually gets better several months after it is picked when the flavor reaches its full peak.
