Players from Atlanta’s first-year Legends Football League team, the Steam, have their first fan meet and greet event set for Thursday. The ladies will be making appearances at a pair of LA Fitness clubs that begins at the Camp Creek location at 3:00 p.m. and at the Old National location an hour later. Both locations will have players manning the booth until 8:00 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for those that are already fans of the league, as well as those that are new to the LFL, to come out and mingle with the ladies and learn more about them. Tickets for the home games will be available, as well as a limited number of team photos.
The group that will share the duties at the Camp Creek club consists of Sweetness, Jodie, Tokyo, Sharpie Holly, Coco, Krista, Alex, Ashley and Keys.
The Old National club booth will be staffed at various times by Sharlene, Erika, J Wall, Nas, Alfe, Blee, Anna, Nala, Paige and Leeann.
The Steam will play a four-game season that begins Saturday, March 30 on the road against the Jacksonville Breeze. The Steam will then play back-to-back home games on Saturday April 13 against the Omaha Heart, and Saturday May 18 when they host the Cleveland Crush. The Steam will close out the regular season schedule on Saturday, July 13 when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the Passion.
The Steam will play home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
