Lactose-Free Cheesy Rice Bowl with Chives
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 1 bag Go Veggie! Lactose-Free Cheddar Cheese Shreds
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
- sea salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 chives, thinly sliced
- lemon zest, for garnish
Cook rice according to package directions. Remove from heat and add cheese immediately; mix well until cheese is melted. Add tomato sauce, olive oil, sea salt and pepper; mix well.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chives and lemon zest. Serve warm.
