Designers Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri have outdone themselves with their Valentino Fall/Winter 2013/2014 Ready-to-Wear collection, which they presented earlier today March 5, 2013 in a fashion show for Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.
Valentino Fall/Winter 2013/2014 RTW offers some stunning daywear, cocktail dresses and evening gowns, favoring a color palette to include black, cream, red, navy and grey as well as several floral prints.
One of the cutest pieces in the Valentino Fall 2013 collection is a floral mini that has a print that looks more like a medieval tapestry, featuring a zigzag hemline, white satin collar and broad cuffs. Pointed toed red pumps and a red clutch bag tastefully complete the outfit.
Delicate lace appears on a woolen cream mini in the way of a pointed lace collar and as decoration on the lower portion of the dress. Ivory T-bar pumps complete the French vanilla look.
Among Valentino’s eveningwear range in this Fall 2013 collection is an unusual floor-length red gown, which has a white Peter-pan collar and white cuffs.
Equally unusual is a stunning long-sleeved grey lace gown, which too has slightly transparent white collar and cuffs.
Several coats feature (faux) ermine at least in part, as teamed with black crosshatch pattern or even a luscious burgundy.
Blue and white pottery lovers will adore Valentino blue and white floral prints, such as featured in the ensemble to include a simple jewel-necked sheath, topped off with a navy-blue satin lined coat.
A lot of contemporized medieval elegance here, yet there’s something for every taste in this Valentino Autumn/Winter 2013/2014 Ready-to-Wear collection! Enjoy the slideshow…
