Labor day pork tenderloin recipe

Cooked to perfection.

Pork tenderloin will be a hit with all your guests. It is very lean, has a great flavor, and if they are watching calories then you will make their Labor day.

You will need:

  • Pork tenderloin
  • half a cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Put all the ingredients into a Zip-lock bag and marinate it in the fridge. This can be done 30 minutes before cooking the pork.

If you are grilling, remove pork from the bag, and place on the grill. It will take 12 to 16 minutes depending on the heat.

For cooking inside preheat your oven to 350 degrees and then cook for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. If you want faster results you can heat the oven to 425 degrees and cook for 25-30 minutes, again checking the temperature of the meat before serving.

Pork tenderloin goes great with all the usual holiday food, coleslaw, potato salad, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, and rum, brandy, or sherry trifle.
