Lab mix goes missing in potential hotel break-in

Have you seen this dog?
Owner, Audrey

On Saturday, August 10th a young girl named Audrey had the scare of a lifetime when her pet went missing following what appears to be a break-in to the hotel room where she was staying.

Says Audrey, "My hotel room was broken into off I-75, exit 108 in Knoxville, TN. My black lab, Sam, was let free while I was away."

The pair had traveled from Michigan and were visiting relatives for Audrey's birthday. Audrey says she spoke to other patrons staying at the hotel and there is strong evidence that the dog was let out in an attempted burglary and not by hotel staff.

"I love and miss my baby boy and I just want him back!"

Sam is one and a half years old. He is a Labrador/Pit bull mix with a blue collar and a white patch on his stomach. He has not been neutered.

"He is afraid of thunder storms and loves to cuddle. He mostly sleeps on his left side because I cuddle with him at night."

Sam is believed to have been picked up by an unknown person but has yet to show up at any of the local shelters. A reward has been offered for his safe return.

Please call 231-409-1918 with any information to help reunite this distraught young lady with her best friend.
