Bravo Media’s new show “LA Shrinks” premieres at 10:00 p.m. ET, right after the “Vanderpump Rules” Reunion. The docu-series follows the professional (and personal) lives of of three “high-end shrinks” practicing in Los Angeles.
The cast includes Dr. Venus Nicolino (aka, Dr. V) Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology; Dr. Gregory Cason - Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist; and Eris Huemer - Marriage & Family Therapist, PsyD.
Each episode gives a "fly-on-the-wall" look at the sessions between the shrinks and their clients, and then takes a look at their personal lives and "the often thin line between their client’s problems and their own."
On the first episode, Dr. “V’s” new clients have bedroom issues and she finds herself alone to take care of her four boys when her husband takes a business trip. According to her bio, Dr. V. resides in Bel Air with her husband, their two sons, ages 3 and 5, and their two nephews, ages 5 and 7, who are now under their permanent guardianship.
Dr. Greg’s new client has anger issues and uncontrollably yells out obscenities. Recently engaged to his partner of 23 years, Kevin, Dr. Greg worries about how his father will react to the news that they plan to marry. Dr. Eris counsels a couple on their sex life and realizes she faces the same issue in her relationship and is desperate to begin family planning with her hesitant husband, Clayton.
The series is produced by Intuitive Entertainment for Bravo with Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill serving as executive producers. Elise Duran co-executive producer.
