Nico Vega has reason to celebrate. Their latest EP Fury Oh Fury EP was released the start of February. Earlier this month they also began the sold-out North American run supporting Imagine Dragons. Since their inception in 2005, the band consists of lead singer Aja Volkman, guitarist Rich Koehler, and drummer Dan Epand. This past year, bassist Jamila Weaver joined the crew to creating a different, richer sound.
In a recent interview on Billboard.com, singer Aja Volkman elaborated on her marriage to Imagine Dragons' frontman Dan Reynolds and bringing their five-month-old baby, Arrow on the road for this sold-out US tour.
Since gaining national recognition, Nico Vega has toured with Gavin Rossdale, Semi Precious Weapons, Neon Trees, Shiny Toy Guns, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Metric, Saint Motel, She Wants Revenge, and Blondie. The LA rockers are sharing this sold out Imagine Dragons tour with Australian band Atlas Genius who's hit "Trojans" is sweeping the US. 2013 holds so much more for LA's Rock n Roll royality, so catch them when you can.
