Los Angeles band He's My Brother She's My Sister will perform their CD release show at The Troubadour on Saturday January 19. Their new album "Nobody Dances in this Town" comes out January 22. The Troubadour show will be presented by The New Los Angeles Folk Festival and Jenny O., Ramshackle, Tommy Santee Klaws will open. The release show is part of the band's forthcoming West Coast tour. 7pm Doors, 10:30pm Set.

He's My Brother, She's My Sister features sibling vocalists and a tap dancing drummer the band exudes a folky sound combined with theatrics of cabaret. Brother and sister Robert Kolar and Rachel Kolar split vocal duties, with Robert on guitar and kick drum and Rachel on tambourine. Lauren Brown adds full-body percussion with her simultaneous drumming and tap-dancing. Oliver Newell plucks the stand up bass with joyous flair. Aaron Robinson plays lead guitar on a lap slide. Check out this eclectic group of minstrels.
