La Quinta Arts Festival named top art show for 2013

The La Quinta Arts Festival ranks as number one for 2013 according to Art Fair SourceBook, a guide to juried arts and crafts fairs across the United States. Featuring works from over 230 artists plus food and entertainment, the festival runs March 7 – 10 at The La Quinta Civic Center Campus.

La Quinta Mayor Don Adams stated this was an incredible achievement and Christi Salamone, LQAF Executive Director, credits diversity, quality and consistency of the artists involved for the honor according to a recently released press release. Greg Lawler, Editor and Publisher of the Art Fair Source Book, stated, “La Quinta Art Festival is the best of the best.” Top sales numbers, quality of the experience and the desert setting of the festival were all contributing factors for the number one designation according to Lawler in the same press release.
