CF Monterrey defeated Puebla FC with a minimal score of 1-0 at the Tecnologico Stadium in Monterrey, Mexico. La Pandilla wins their third game of the season. Monterrey reaches 13 points and moves into the third position on the league table.
Cruz Azul won their second game of the season with a 2-1 over Queretaro FC at the Azul Stadium. La maquina cementera maintained control of the game to take a much needed victory. The Azulinos reached 8 points and moved into the 8th position on the league table.
