A Kobe Bryant feud tweet is all the buzz tonight (Jan. 7). In response to LA Lakers rumors about Bryant and Dwight Howard nearly coming to blows last week, he posted a picture online that seems like an effort to diffuse those rumors.
In the posted picture, Bryant and Howard are shown holding up their fists to each other. Bryant is smiling in the photo and Howard looks to have a pretend scowl on his face as a surprised Mike D'Antoni looks on.
This is a pretty funny for NBA fans with no vested interest in the Lakers and it gives Lakers fans ammunition to deal with the constant dogging that NBA analysts are giving the team. It certainly pokes holes in the original rumors, but it doesn't quite come off as convincing that the two are seriously getting along.
The Lakers have fallen to 15-18, so maybe a spark in the locker room is exactly what the team needs anyways. Maybe if all the star players take the court with a chip on their shoulder they will actually try to prove that this collection of players hasn't been a huge mistake for the franchise.
This Kobe Bryant feud tweet should put an end to the LA Lakers rumors about him and Dwight Howard fighting. But in the world of internet, it’s only a matter of time before the next story pops up.
