The Los Angeles Jewelry, Antique & Design Show has announced it will kick off a stylish Opening Night Premiere Party to benefit the FIDM Museum Fashion Council.
The event will take place on Wednesday, January 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall.
The evening's festivities will include food, wine, music, and an exclusive fashion program showcasing a curated exhibit of noteworthy pieces from The Helen Larson Historic Fashion Collection.
Proceeds from the Opening Night Premiere Party will benefit the FIDM Museum Fashion Council, a volunteer group dedicated to supporting the museum’s educational goals, as well as the acquisition of important objects.
The Helen Larson Historic Fashion Collection is spearheading the fundraiser-- a collection that features 1,400 pieces of clothing and accessories dating from the 1600s to the 1930s, assembled by Southern Californian Helen Larson between 1946 and 1996
“We are thrilled to partner with the Los Angeles Jewelry, Antique & Design Show to raise awareness and support to acquire this important collection,” said Curator, Kevin Jones. “The show’s commitment to high caliber art, design, and decorative works makes it the ideal platform for our organization. The high-energy and sophistication of the Opening Night Premiere Party is an ideal fit for our supporters.”
The Opening Night Premiere Party will also include a high-end fashion showcase featuring Los Angeles-based design houses, and several couture and celebrity designers including Kevan Hall and Sue Wong.
The Los Angeles Jewelry, Antique & Design Show will take place in conjunction with the LA Art Show. To purchase tickets, please visit: eventbrite.com.
