In 1982, Little Five Points Community Center (L5PCC) set up their headquarters in the former Moreland Avenue Elementary School. Since its inception, this non-profit organization has been dedicated to supporting the arts, cultural activities, community service projects, and outreach programs within their eclectic neighborhood of Atlanta.

In the spirit of “COMMUNITY, CREATIVITY, AND COLLABORATION,” L5PCC is hosting their 1st Annual Community Day on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 10:45 am – 3:00 pm.

To gain a better understanding of L5PCC’s mission, attendees will be able to take classes in creative writing, pottery, meditation, faux painting, and more from trained professionals and artists. For a complete listing of the workshops, click on this link.

A not to miss performance by Manga African Dance will kick off the event.
