Get Out (Fitted) Giveaway
Get out and get fit, is the message that L.L. Bean is pushing for 2012. As part of their effort to inspire one million outdoor moments in 2012, L.L.Bean will give away more than $100,000 in outdoor gear and Outdoor Discovery School experiences through the Get Out(fitted) Gear Giveaway. It’s all part of our goal to inspire the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts during our 100th.
Million Moment Mission
L.L.Bean launched the Million Moment Mission to raise $1 million for the National Park Foundation as part of its 100th Anniversary celebration and efforts to inspire and enable a new generation to explore the outdoors. The Million Moment Mission is a year-long campaign conceived to encourage consumers to share their outdoor. All levels of fitness are encouraged to join. Activities will take place outdoors in NYC (primarily in Manhattan) and will include such things as walking, urban hiking, bike riding, rollerblading, yoga, charity walks, and kayaking.

David Kirsch’s Madison Square Club (212-683-1836) holds a boot camp in Madison Square Park in the summer months.
