Leah Petersen, a professional female motorcycle stunt rider residing in Los Angeles, CA, is embarking on a tour through Asia during the month of October 2013. Leah will perform stunts in Singapore, at the Malaysia Moto GP and also in Vietnam.
Leah is one of the most well known and talented female motorcycle athletes in the country and she has traveled the world promoting her company, stuntbums.com, to grow the sport of motorcycle freestyle stunt riding. She has performed motorcycle stunts in France and across the U.S. "I could not be more stoked for this amazing opportunity to travel and meet new enthusiasts," says Leah about her trip to Asia.
Leah recently performed at Kawasaki's Gas Lamp Takeover in San Diego, CA, where Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. unveiled their product line for 2014. She signed autographs and did wheelies in front of amazed spectators where several people shouted, "On my God! That's a girl!"
Leah recently traded in her old Kawasaki 636 for a new 2013 Kawasaki ZX-6R, a middle weight sport bike that has 636cc's of screaming power. The entire bike has been modified for stunt riding and includes modifications such as a giant 60-tooth Thrust sprocket, HT Moto seats, HEL purple brake lines and Stunter X crash cages as well as fabricated reinforcement to keep the bike protected from abuse and that's just the icing on the cake. Leah has been riding street bikes since 2004 when she went to school at Columbia University in Manhattan, NY. From there she went to Italy and was taunted by the memory motorcycling until she returned to live in L.A. in 2006. From there, her boyfriend introduced her to the world of stunt riding and she hasn't turned back since. Leah has performed stunts in commercials, music videos and various T.V. shows.
