L.A.M.B. New York Fashion Week Spring 2011 handbags

L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani sent a casual and patterned Spring 2011 collection down the New York Fashion Week runway on September 16, 2010. The collection was filled with multi-colored patterns in vibrant colors of blue, red, white, green, yellow and browns. Gwen Stefani created looks which included long, loose pants, long skirts, mini-skirts, dresses, vest, jackets and blouses which were in line with the light-hearted theme of her label L.A.M.B.. Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. collection from new York Fashion Week included a large line of handbags which fit into the casual theme of the collection as well as provided new, fresh choices for Stefani's fans.

L.A.M.B. included a blue and white, American Indian inspired fabric tote and matching top handle satchel which fits right into the current western trend that seemed to resonate on the New York Fashion Week runways over the past week. Both the satchel and the tote included an outside pocket on the front and both were roomy and functional for daytime use. Gwen Stefani paired her patternedĀ L.A.M.B. handbags with solid colored outfits in colors which complimented the handbags overall design.

There was also a weathered, brown messenger bag on L.A.M.B.'s New York Fashion Week runway. The cross-bogy bag was medium sized and perfect for weekends. Gwen Stefani paired the messenger bag with multi-colored patterned looks which enhanced the clean and classic lines of the handbag. The L.A.M.B. messenger bag included a detachable, cross-body strap and two top handles.

L.A.M.B.'s handbag collection for Spring 2011 also included leather top handle satchels with detachable shoulder straps. They were shown in the same, weathered brown leather as the messenger bag. Gwen Stefani showed the satchel held by the top handles as well as draped over a model's shoulder. This was the most inviting handbag of the collection as Fashionistas could easily live in this handbag for daily use.

The tote collection on the L.A.M.B. runway included solid colored totes in white as well as decorated totes with floral patterns. The totes were perfect for weekend use and could also be used a small carry-on for short airplane rides.

Although many celebrities wish to present themselves as "designer's," Gwen Stefani has also had her own sense of style of the years, which is why L.A.M.B. is one of the few celebrity clothing and handbag lines in existence which is actually worth investing in. The handbags are classic enough to blend well with different types of outfits and trends while still having enough of a unique twist to garner attention.
