L.A. Guns come to Aurora, CO (7/21/10)

Brian Taylor of Saturn Records and Image West Concerts is bringing one of his old high school buddies, Tracii Guns, back for a little reunion.  The Guns of L.A. Guns (Tracii & Jeremy) have a date set at The Spillway in Aurora (Parker & Quincy, SE corner) on Wednesday, 7/21/10.  Tickets are $15 presale/$20 day of show.  Ticket inquiries should be made to 303-693-0755.

Back in '82, Cherry Creek H.S. alumni Tracii co-founded one of the biggest bands of rock & roll fame, Guns & Roses, with fellow band mates Axl Rose and Phil Lewis.  At age 18 he was signed to a major record deal and was off on his first world tour.

Many stories abound as to why Tracii and Phil couldn't see eye to eye, but this summer Tracii will begin writing his version, an authorized autobiography with music biographer Jake Brown (Heart, Motorhead, Rick Rubin).

L.A. Guns comes to The Spillway with Faster Pussycat.  They are promoting the reissue of "Shrinking Violet," their first CD release with Favored Nations (Steve Vai's label).  Current band members include: Jizzy Pearl (vocals), Chad Stewart (drums), Jeremy Guns (bass) and Tracii Guns (guitar).
