L.A. friends benefit east of the 405 freeway this summer

For those Los Angelenos who reside east of the 405 and don’t want to get caught up in the beach traffic heading west, can opt for a chic Hollywood pool soiree. Friends With Benefits is a poolside party that brings locals together for beauty, a dip in the pool and artisan cocktails at Loew's Hollywood Hotel under the Southern California sun.

Every Saturday 12noon to 7:00 p.m. now through October 4th, you’ll find cushy lounge chairs and day beds, a pool viewing the iconic Hollywood sign, and inviting cabanas with experts offering massages, manicures, pedicures, summer hair waves and curls, and the latest poolside fashion from Cabana Anna Swimwear. The day by the pool services are offered complimentary thanks to exhale spa, Massage Therapy Los Angeles, Cure Salon & Spa in West Hollywood, and Shannon Tackett of Be Hair Works.

The pool bar, lunch and small bites menu are run by Wolfgang Puck, the world-renowned chef behind the Governor’s Ball, Hollywood’s biggest party of the year. In addition to a full bar menu, Puck’s beverage experts have created refreshing alcoholic libations such as Honey Lavender Sangria, Pink Greyhound, and a Vodka Strawberry Lemonade. Puck’s crew also created a bar snack you won’t be able to resist – bourbon bacon infused popcorn, on sale at the beverage cart.

Before heading back to your reality plan on spending some quality time at exhale Spa, located just inside the hotel. Just to indulge in paradise for a little bit more, book one of the spa’s signature treatments such as a Cool Beam facial or Glow Body Scrub, or try one of the sanctuary’s yoga or Core Fusion classes. Regardless, you’ll feel refreshed and ready for re-entry to the world around you.
