Kyle Richards is letting her fans know she is suffering from a serious eye problem. It may be responsible for keeping her busy, and she shared an update on her official Twitter account on Thursday that things have been crazy. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star has a chronic condition, but she is getting treatment.

Richards has chronic dry eye, and she has been dealing with this problem for several years before she finally admitted she needed a doctor’s intervention. This disorder prevents her eyes from naturally making their own tears, so she is forced to use artificial ones. At first, she apparently relied on over-the-counter artificial tears. However, she later went to a doctor who gave her Restasis.

The Mayo clinic explains that chronic dry eye has several symptoms including pain, redness, irritation and blurriness. It is also possible to feel that there is something stuck in the eye, and it may be difficult to look at lights. In some cases, it is possible to develop eye infections and inflammation due to this condition. Richards may have had multiple symptoms before she relented by getting help.

Richards is focusing on her health and recently shared she went to get a mammogram. This brought back memories of her mother who passed away and left the reality star wondering if things would have turned out differently had she had not delayed treatment. She has not forgotten about other causes and also participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is currently filming the next season, and she admits that the stars are getting along. This may be irritating for the producers, but the housewives are not complaining. Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville and others have also confirmed that they are trying to keep the episodes more peaceful with fewer fights.
