Kyle Richards says 'RHOBH' will be great; she and Lisa Vanderpump friends again

Despite going through a bit of a difficult time on the fourth season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Kyle Richards is looking forward to the fifth season. One big reason for that is because her friendship with Lisa Vanderpump is good again. In an interview with E! News, posted on Tuesday, June 24, Kyle spoke out how she and Lisa are doing today and her thoughts on the fifth season.

Lisa, after much delay, finally confirmed a few days ago that she will indeed be returning for another season. She tweeted that five is her lucky number and to "let the games begin."

When asked what she thinks of Lisa returning for the fifth season, Kyle said that she's "glad she's coming back." "We're friends," she added. This answer may be surprising for many viewers of the show, since Kyle and Lisa, who previously had a very strong friendship, argued for much of season four over whether Lisa helped spread rumors that Kyle's husband, Mauricio Umansky, was a cheater. After the season ended, Kyle hung out with Lisa's arch enemy, Brandi Glanville, several times, which only seemed to confirm which team she's on.

But it seems now that Kyle has every intention of being friends to both Lisa and Brandi, as evidenced by what she did over the past weekend. First, she partied with Lisa at Lisa's new lounge PUMP. The following day, she had Brandi and her boys over for dinner. This means that it's very likely that season five will feature Kyle trying to play peacemaker between Lisa and Brandi.

Despite her hard position, Kyle said that she's "really excited" and "looking forward" to the new season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which she said will be "great." She, like many fans probably, thinks that it will be interesting to see which of the housewives get closer and which ones get more distant this season.

Joining Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump for season five will be Yolanda Foster, Kim Richards, and Brandi Glanville. So far, there has been no confirmation that there are replacements for Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, both of whom were dropped from the show after only one season.
