When Kim Richards attended the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Upfront in New York City in mid-May with her sister Kyle Richards and co-star Yolanda Foster to represent "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," it was a pretty big clue that she would be back for season five of the hit reality TV show.
Yet there were still rumors that producers were going to drop her because they considered her too boring and because of her lack of a major storyline. The fact that Kyle has been busily talking with the press to promote the upcoming season for the past few days while Kim has stayed silent hasn't helped quiet the rumors.
In an interview with All About The Real Housewives, posted on Wednesday, July 2, Kyle set the record straight when it comes to her sister's role on the show. "Kim is coming back," she confirmed.
Indeed, Kim attended Kyle's annual White Party, which was filmed by Bravo's cameras, over the weekend. On Tuesday, July 1, Kim posted a photo of her with some friends and family at the party. Also in the photo was Brandi Glanville.
Kyle also refuted a recent article that claimed that Kim and one of her daughters were arguing in public while filming. According to Kyle, Kim's storyline in the upcoming season won't involve discord with her daughters. Kyle said that she never heard anything about a fight and that gossip websites are just always looking for drama.
Joining Kim Richards and Kyle Richards for season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster. It has also just been reported that former housewives Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof have agreed to return to the show on a part-time basis. Taylor Armstrong is also reportedly trying to get back on the show and is in the process of moving back to Beverly Hills from Colorado to better her chances.
