Kyle Richards on her 'RHOBH' season five return, Joyce Giraud's exit

Kyle Richards is back for a fifth season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." However, the fifth season looks a bit different than the fourth.

In addition to two new wives, reportedly Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson (who have both been seen filming), the show lost two wives, Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia. In a new interview, Richards explains why she decided to come back to the Bravo series, and why she misses her friend, Giraud.

“I think people thought, ‘oh she had so much conflict,’ and maybe I wouldn’t want to come back, but it wasn’t a hard decision this season," Richards revealed in the interview, via a Sept. 4 report by Reality Tea. "Other seasons have been a lot harder. We have a lot of conflict and issues, but ultimately I do care about these women and we do have a lot of fun together as well, so I was like, ‘ok, let’s do this.’”

Richards, along with Lisa Vanderpump and Kim Richards, has been with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" since the show started in 2010. During season five, they will be joined by returning wives, Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville, as well as Rinna and Davidson.

Although Richards won't be missing Gebbia, whom she feuded with throughout season four, she is going to be missing Giraud.

“I got along very well with Joyce, so I was sad. I don’t like change and I really liked her,” Richards explained.

Giraud and Carlton were reportedly fired in May of this year. They had each been with the show for just one season.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season five premieres this fall on Bravo.
