Kyle Richards is really struggling with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Carlton Gebbia. Since Carlton joined the show, she has been disgusted by Kyle's every move and everything Kyle says, she has something to say about herself. No matter how much Kyle tries, there just seems to be no pleasing Carlton.
"I'll start out with shopping with Carlton. When she told me I had done something she didn't like, I thought, 'Oh, no. What did I do?' But by the time she got to the second thing and then the third, I thought, 'You must be kidding me!'" Kyle wrote in her Bravo blog on December 9. "The faces she was making when the girl Wendy in the store was trying to be nice and compliment me were flat out mean. Then, at the end, Wendy called my name right BEFORE Carlton started to speak so I had just stepped away and didn't hear her. Again with the faces. Carlton is always speaking about how she cares about nature and animals. I guess I'd have to be an animal in order for her to be nice to me."
Kyle is probably right. Ever since episode 1, it seems clear that Carlton just doesn't like Kyle and nothing she does is ever going to be okay in her book.
"I have never met someone like Carlton that was so quick to judge and easy to anger," Kyle continues. "I had heard the Mexican expression, "looking for tits on an ant" from my father-in-law, Eduardo, years ago. I had never used the expression until I met Carlton. She just wants so badly to dislike me. In watching the show, I feel foolish for even making an effort with her."
It would be nice to see Kyle and Carlton get along, but from the looks of things, that's never going to happen, so Kyle's best bet is to just move on and not worry what Carlton thinks.
Later in the episode, Kyle and the ladies vacationed in Palm Spring were Brandi pointed out that Joyce was like a "black person" because she didn't get in the pool. Needless to say, the comment left everyone wondering what in the world she was thinking!
"When Brandi said to Joyce, 'You can't swim? Oh, you’re a black person?' my mouth dropped," Kyle wrote. "Why does she say these things? I do not believe Brandi is a racist. I do think that was a really insensitive thing to say though."
