Kyle Richards defends Taylor Armstrong, says her wedding speech was sweet

Taylor Armstrong is denying that she made guests uncomfortable at her own wedding by giving an awkward wedding speech. She's not the only one doing so. Kyle Richards, her former co-star on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," is also denying the claim. On Thursday, April 10, Kyle posted a tweet that said that Taylor's speech was actually sweet.

Taylor first tweeted that her wedding toast was "beautiful" and that it was actually a guest's wedding toast that was uncomfortable. She told websites Radar Online and Perez Hilton to get their facts straight. Kyle backed her up retweeting part of her tweet and adding that Taylor's speech "was so sweet." Taylor also retweeted another guest's tweets that said that her speech "was filled with love" and that it was a guest who made the inappropriate speech. Unfortunately for the curious, another person's tweet asking who the guest was has so far gone unanswered.

Earlier in the week, Radar Online posted an article that claims that the reality TV star made a bizarre speech at her wedding that talked about the abuse that she suffered at the hands of ex-husband Russell Armstrong, who committed suicide in August 2011. According to one source, her speech made some of her guests so uncomfortable that they walked to the back of the room so that they wouldn't have to hear what she had to say. The article also claims that she plugged products for a weight loss company during her speech.

Taylor married attorney John Bluher on Friday, April 4, atop a cliff in Bel Air, Calif. The wedding, which in addition to Kyle was attended by housewives Lisa Vanderpump and Kim Richards and former housewife Adrienne Maloof, was reportedly filmed and paid for by network WE tv for David Tutera‘s reality show "My Fair Wedding." A few days before her wedding, Taylor made sure to advertise the famous wedding planner's help by mentioning him several times. The Friday prior to her wedding for example, she tweeted that David had "his hands full" with the wedding.
