Should a team with multiple wins, qualify for the chase? Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth have one two things in common, they both won multiple 2009 Sprint Cup races, and they both failed to qualify for this year’s chase. Since there are four drivers; Car Edwards, Greg Biffle, Ryan Newman, and Juan Montoya all made the chase without winning a single race, the question must be asked, should a team with multiple regular season wins earn an automatic Chase birth? |

The maturation of one Kyle Busch For the first time since May 2nd at Richmond Kyle Busch won a 2009 Sprint Cup race. More that that for the first time in his career Kyle showed a little grace, a little humility, and dare this word be spoken but a little maturity. Maybe this summer long slump was what Kyle’s career needed, that or the influence of the Gibbs organization is finally turning Kyle into a perennial fan favorite. |

NASCAR fans have put Kyle Busch into a very weird predicament. On one hand they say over and over that NASCAR drivers are too vanilla, they don’t show enough emotion. On top of that many fans and NASCAR detractors say that the drivers of today don’t try hard enough to win, that they simply stay back at point’s race. On both of these points Kyle Busch never fails to deliver. Yet the fans and many in the media continue to talk bad about him, or boo him. |

Kyle Busch in a verbal war with Dale Junior I think we can all understand where Kyle Busch is coming from. While he was at Hendrick Motor Sports he was fairly successful winning four races in a little more than three seasons. Rick Hendrick then made the decision to replace Kyle with NASCAR’s most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. starting with the 2008 season. |

Why does Kyle Busch need to steal other’s glory? I don’t think it is news anymore that Kyle Busch won the big Camping World East/West Series race last Sunday at Iowa. I also don’t think it is news that this was the second biggest race of the season for those two developmental series. However there seems to be a question of why Kyle was in that race in the first place? |

Kyle Busch wins for the first time on his home track, and while that is surely a story it may not be the story of this race. Engine problems, and several top ten finishing surprises, and pit road mishaps likely will end up being the narrative of this installment of the Las Vegas cup race. |

Kyle Busch became the first NASCAR driver to win two races in the three national touring divisions of NASCAR on the same day. Today he will look to become the first driver to win a race in all three divisions in the same weekend. NASCAR is lucky to have this feat because otherwise these races were pretty boring. |
