NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular dominated the top of the scoring pylon during Nationwide Series qualifying on Saturday for the History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch claimed his second-straight Charlotte pole in Nationwide competition with a lap time of 29.493 seconds (183.094 mph). He won at Charlotte last October after starting from the pole.

Busch will be joined on the front row for Saturday afternoons Nationwide event by another Sprint Cup regular, Brad Keselowski. Sprint Cup driver Kyle Larson qualified third. The fastest Nationwide championship-eligible driver in qualifying was Dylan Kwasniewski, who posted the fourth fastest time in the third and final round of qualifying to start alongside his Turner Scott Motorsports teammate, Larson on the second row.

Not only was Busch fastest in the third and final round of qualifying that set the top-12 starting spots, he was also atop the pylon at the end of the first two rounds. Like in the final round, Keselowski was second to Busch in round two, but Nationwide Series regular Brian Scott took second honors in round one.

Kwasniewski was the only series championship-eligible driver to qualify in the top-five, as yet another Sprint Cup driver, Kevin Harvick, rounded out the top-five in the third round. Also advancing to the final round to determine the top-12 spots on the starting grid, in the order in which they'll start from sixth to 12th in Saturday's race are: Matt Kenseth, Regan Smith, Chase Elliott, Elliott Sadler, Ty Dillon and Jeb Burton.

Forty drivers, the exact number of a full field in Nationwide competition, made qualifying attempts in the first round, so all who made laps during the qualifying session were awarded with starting spots for the race.
