Kupid and the trending "Hey girl" song (Photos)

Kupid, a former group member of a popular Caribbean group called Crossovah has gone solo. Now, his single called Hey girl featuring Thomas Miller is becoming a sensation to those who hear it. This talented and unique recording artist has mixed hip-hop, reggae, soca, and r&b.

Kupid is now Orlando based and has performed in Virginia, New York, Houston, Atlanta, and Florida. His most recent performance was in December in Orlando. Not only can he sing, but he can dance. During his performance, he entertained the crowd with his dancing. He encouraged audience interaction, especially with the Hey girl song. His inspiration came from his parents. His mother is from Guyana and his father is from Antigua. During his time of growing up in Antigua, his father and mother would play Caribbean music all week long. Later, while in high school, Kupid started to listen more to the hip-hop side of music. His sound is a mix of Lil' Wayne and Drake.
