Kuhn returns to Packers

A fan favorite with Green Bay Packers' fans, fullback John Kuhn is returning to Green Bay for the 2014-15 season.

Signing a one-year deal, Kuhn will receive a little over $1 million, after bonuses. He was a free agent this season.

Kuhn, 32, has been with the Packers since 2007. He doesn't carry the ball much, acting more as a blocker and a special teams player.

According to running backs coach Alex Van Pelt, Kuhn wasn't responsible for any quarterback sacks in 2013.

Kuhn's knowledge of blocking schemes and his usefulness as a short yardage back, make him valuable even as the Packers move to more one-back sets with Eddie Lacy.

In his career, Kuhn has 12 rushing touchdowns and 8 receiving. He was elected to the Pro Bowl in 2012.

Kuhn will earn $855,000 in base salary. He is the sixth Packers free agent to re-sign with the team this offseason.
