Some folks believe reincarnation is a theory that not only includes people but also their pets. Even I have wondered if my little Shih Tzu here in Hamilton, Ontario was the reincarnated soul of pets that I previously loved. But for a Langley, B.C. resident this idea is much more than simply a theory when it comes to her beloved cats.
Krystael Lynn of Fort Langley, B.C. did not think the little kitten she saw at her neighbor’s was right for her. First of all, kittens take more work. Secondly, she felt she should get a male cat that would get along with the females she already had. But fate had other ideas.
“Something pressed me to bring the kitten up (to my apartment) to see what would happen with my other two cats. They were jealous, and hissed and growled at her."
Krystael decided to ask some questions via her pendulum.
I asked if I was meant to keep her and got a ‘yes.’ All of a sudden, Simba's image popped into my mind. I asked if he was still in spirit and got a ‘no.’ I asked if he was back in a cat body and got a ‘yes.’
She then asked if Simba’s spirit was in the kitten’s body and got another ‘yes.’
“I could hardly believe that he would actually come back to the place where he was abused by dark entities and died, and be with me again. I guess he does love me after all!"
But how did Krystael know for sure that Simba had returned?
“When I first brought Comet, the new baby kitten here, she knew the apartment,” she said. “Most cats/ kittens hide when you bring them to a new place. The two other cats were growling and hissing at her but she just ignored them. No fear at 8 weeks old! She added that Simba had a favorite blanket on the couch that he loved to curl up on.
“That pink blanket was on the couch in Raphael's spot, my other old cat and she spotted it and went right for it. Raphael got pssed off seeing her in his spot. I kept taking her off (but) she would go right back to that blanket.
Krystael decided to remove the blanket that the kitten no longer wanted to go to that spot. She truly believes that Comet, formerly Simba, recognized her own blanket so she put it in her cat bed.
“Shakira, my 2-year-old Calico cat has had Simba's old spot at the other end of the couch. Now Comet is claiming this spot back again and kept getting in Shakira's bed becauxe that's where she remembers was her spot in her past life as Simba.
In Krystael’s bed, she has moved to the right side where she used to sleep as well. Simba always sat in a chair beside Krystael while she worked on her computer.
“He liked to be close to me.”
Although Shakira has taken that spot, Comet now wants it back and whenever she can, will jump up to lay there.
