Krusty Krab: Actual restaurant from 'SpongebBob' being built in Middle East

At this point in the world, everyone is bound to have heard of "SpongeBob Squarepants" before. With that, they've likely heard of the best fast-food restaurant in Bikini Bottom and that is the Krusty Krab. For those that have always wanted to visit it, they may soon have their chance. ITM reported on June 25, 2014, that an actual real-life Krusty Krab is being built in the Middle East.

That's right, you may be able to get your own true-life Krabby Patty, but yeah, you have to head out to the Middle East to get it.

The famed animated fast-food joint is being built in Ramallah, West Bank, Palestine, and pictures already show how similar the real one will look. The curved roof. The thatched windows on either end of the building. The nautical flags on the rooftop.

Now, the flags aren't necessarily in the right order, but you get the idea.

A full menu has yet to be released for the Krusty Krab, but just like its animated version, there will be fast food seafood dishes available. You're likely to be able to get a Krabby Patty as well.

Of course, SpongeBob won't officially be on the grill, Squidward won't be behind the register, and Mr. Krabs won't be greeting the customers, but we can hope. There will be statues and likenesses of the cartoon characters around the joint though.

There has been no word on if the restaurant is licensed from Nickelodeon or any other company officially dealing with "SpongeBob Squarepants." It's seeming like it is just an independent job and restaurant.

The Krusty Krab broke ground in May of this year, and there is no set opening date yet in place.

Hopefully, SpongeBob will be there for the ribbon cutting or it just wouldn't feel right at all.
