Dragon Berries are back! This is one of my favorite flavors that Kronik has ever come out with, a great combination of dragon fruit with strawberry - creating a Dragon Berry. The flavor of dragonberry was first popularized by Bacardi when they were looking for new run flavors - and mixed the two. Sometimes a dragon fruit is called a Pitya - one which tastes very alike a kiwi - full of black seeds only with a whitish pulp. On the outside, Dragon Fruits have this intense pinkish red color with green or yellow leaf-things and look really cool. It only blooms at night, so some call this Moonflower too.

Black, barbed wire, distressed fonts and a and a cool slogan- what else do you need in an energy drink can? The barbed wire and cool energy drink name was enough to make this drink stand out proudly from my co-worker's drinks in the fridge. I think I even heard a Lean Cuizine whimper at the sight of theis can's blaise' bad-assness. The colors have worked well - like they have been in the six or seven hears I have been able to find them. They work just about everything right with the design, including working in a double facing design to make life easier for C-store stockers, a listing of caffeine content - even their lid is facing right, so the label is pointing outwards while you drink it ( its so much easier to show off what you agree drinking by having the name point out when you hold it up to your mouth).

Like the Lo - Carb version, this one is an awesome blend of watermelon-lime and berry Juice. If you have ever eaten kiwis or pineapples and mixed it with the taste of strwberry popsicles, you are getting closer. No, it doesn't taste like dragon fruit. I really could care less in this case - it is full of candy sweet goodness.
While I like the lo-carb version more than the regular version, I still loved this flavor. I would drink this over the usual Monster/ Red Bull/ Rockstar gang any day. No - it does not taste like real fruit - or even anything natural. But in this I don't really care about that either. It is just happiness in a can!

This is about the same as the other Kroniks, except for the high calorie (260 calories) count. It has the usual overload of vitamin B complex, 2 grams of Taurine, glucosamine, glucuronolactone, ginseng, inositol, milk thistle and gingko biloba. I LOVE how they put all this stuff in here - even if it does not do much for my energy, it is nice to see thwy covered all their standard energy drink bases.
They even juice things up with lab caffeine AND guarana. Too bad they did not throw some yerba mate, Green Tea or Vitamin C, and then we would have had the entire energy drink ingredient party show up. The caffeine content was 150mg, but I am not sure if that was counting the guarana or not. I do know that I felt a nice burst of energy - that lasted about 3 hours. Of course, the massive rush of sugar helped too.
That also menat the crash was there too - a nice heavy HFCS crash nap that actually felt as good as the energy buzz four hours before.
