What does winning this award mean for “Beauty and the Beast”?
Kreuk: I think the fans are the most important thing to keep the show going. And this feels amazing to have that support and have them be so on board with us and to be so excited, it makes it so wonderful.
Have you had a most memorable moment with a “Beauty and the Beast” fans?
Ryan: You know, we’ve been cooped away in Toronto for so long, [he says jokingly] this is actually the first day we got out. [Kreuk laughs.] We were actually supposed to be shooting today and then we got banging on the doors last night, like, “Get up!” I wasn’t answering my phone. “Get up quickly! You’ve got to go to L.A.” So they shut down production because the fans screamed for us to be there. So that’s the power of the people, the people’s choice. So they got us on a private plane and flew us here. Thanks to the fans for getting us on a private plane.
Which designers are you wearing?
Kreuk: I’m wearing John Ferraz.
Ryan: I’m in John Varavatos.
Kreuk: This was so last-minute, my friend Sima who’s also a stylist picked a few choices, and we actually went with what was best.
Ryan: I actually told her to wear that one. It’s true.
