First day back shooting on #TrueBlood tom for season 6! Better go get b*tchy & beauty sleep on.

The star began the prep work for "True Blood" season 6 back in December "I had my first wardrobe fitting today, which for Pam is such a huge part of my character." she says of the shows blood and gore "If you ever saw the making of 'True Blood,' if they ever sort of wanted to ruin it for the fans,", "if I look right there, at what the camera is seeing, it looks kinda creepy. But then if I just look to the side, there's some construction guys in flannel and boots with gallons of blood labeled. It just becomes ridiculous. It's really the magic of the movies."

There was some casting news announced in Dec as well, Robert Patrick is back as a series regular. Patrick plays Alcide's pop Jackson, who might cause a bit of trouble in Bon Temps. Arliss Howard is joining the show as Creighton Burrell, the Governor of Louisiana. Burrell is said to not be a fan a vampires to say the least. The Governor holds a bit of grudge against the vamps ever since his wife ran off with one.

The show returns to HBO in June with the episode “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood," with our own Stephen Moyer directing. We here Sam will have a run in of sorts with the police. We also hear Sookie may have a new love this season.
